Phoenix, AZ--The community of Anthem came together for a man who was shot during an armed robbery last month. The community organized a fundraiser to help ensure that the victims' monetary needs were met.

A local news report noted that hundreds of cars from all over Anthem gathered for the cause.
Per the report, the fundraiser was a car wash and blood drive. The money raised in the event went to Andrew Z Diamonds and Fine Jewelry and the employee who was shot in the incident.
"Such a great community, we're so fortunate to live here," a source told the outlet.
"We're going to make sure the victim has whatever monetary needs to make sure they're well taken care of," another source added.
