Fope "Love Nest" Collection Makes U.S. Debut In Las Vegas
Vicenza, Italy—Italian goldsmith and international jewelry brand Fope will debut the Love Nest collection for the first time in the United States next week. Made of 18k gold with white diamonds, Love Nest is the latest of the brand’s famous Flex’it collections, and was initially launched at Baselworld last March to great success. The line features a thick weave, a round chain, and flexible bracelets. The entire set also comprises a necklace, earrings and rings. ("Hero" bracelets from the collection shown left).
Richline To Debut Virtual Store At Wearables Event In Las Vegas
New York, NY--Richline Group, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company, will host an event at the JCK show to present many of the latest innovations in wearable technology and connected devices, as well as a virtual jewelry store (left).
The event, set for May 28 at Mandalay Bay, will present a range of cutting edge technologies. Attendees will be able to take a virtual tour of a jewelry store courtesy of Next Galaxy and Zeiss 3D Glasses; see stylish 3D printed high heeled shoes; or even print edible designs made entirely from chocolate. Adding consumer relevance to these more hands on experiences, Richline is bringing together a futuristic array of wearable and connected devices that enhance women’s fitness, wellness, safety, lifestyle computing and communication with an emphasis on glamour.
In addition to teasing a few of its new smart jewelry designs ahead of the show, the event is set to introduce a wide range of smart jewelry options, which include collaborations with tech companies Cuff, Omate, as well as third-party compatible jewelry offerings for existing wearable technology, like Fitbit®. New partnerships will also be announced and displayed at the JCK show.

In addition to a walk-in exhibit open 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for all JCK Las Vegas attendees, Richline is hosting a panel featuring innovators in the wearables space. The panel will be moderated by Robin Raskin, founder and president of Living in Digital Times. It will also include industry leaders Dave Monahan of FitLinxx, Amanda Parkes of Manufacture NY, Scott Amyx of Amyx+McKinsey, and Sonny Vu of Misfit.

Rahaminov Has New Southern Sales Director
Los Angeles, CA--Rahaminov Diamonds has named Zach Buss as its new southern regional sales director. His first official duty will be at the Luxury by JCK show next week (booth LUX 921). Buss comes to Rahaminov from Riddles Jewelry in Wyoming, where for 10 years he was the district manager.
“I am beyond excited to be joining the winning Rahaminov team and look forward to helping the company achieve continued success for many years to come,” he says.
Zach Buss will represent Rahaminov Diamonds in the south.
Benavente Tapped To Head Scott Kay
New York, NY—Michael Benavente, a longtime executive in the prestige watch sector, has been tapped to head the Scott Kay brand, now owned by Frederick Goldman. Benavente was the North American managing director of Gucci Group Watches and Jewelry for 10 years; his career also includes a stint as president of Longines and vice president of Movado. Frederique Constant Partners With Global Gift Gala
Cannes, France—As part of Frederique Constant’s continued emphasis on charity partnerships, it was the main partner of the Global Gift Foundation Gala dinner, which raises money for a number of charity projects. The event was held in the Mouton Cadet Wine Bar.
Direct donations and a charity auction raised funds to go fully to three charity projects: disaster relief from the recent earthquakes in Nepal, the Eva Longoria Foundation, and to La Casa in Marbella, the Global Gift Foundation’s own project.
Alina Peralta, co-founder of the Global Gift Foundation, announced the donations to the Nepal earthquake relief. Maria Bravo, co-founder of Global Gift Foundation, explained the details of the group’s own project, La Casa in Marbella, which aims to help children affected by rare diseases. The group is working on financing the multifunctional center where several institutions will work together for therapy, education, and social welfare of children in need.
The Eva Longoria Foundation helps Latinas build better futures for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship. Projects include teaching parents how to help their children succeed in school and giving microloans to low-income Latina entrepreneurs to help them start or grow their businesses.
