Pe-Jay Creations Partners With “My Story” Birthstone Line

New York, NY—Mitchell Feuer of PeJay Creations and Jackie Cohen from Timeless Fine Jewelry have partnered to create a new company, MY STORY FINE JEWELRY.

Cohen, a single mother, was inspired to create the MY STORY line after adopting her daughter, Julia. But as both her line and Timeless’s business evolved, Cohen wanted more freedom and flexibility to spend time with her daughter. She needed a partner to help run the business side of MY STORY.

“I wanted to continue to create, design, and share stories with the amazing people I have met over the past year and a half of growing MY STORY, but knew I couldn’t do it on my own.  I needed someone to run the ins and outs of the everyday business and I could handle the creative. Mitchell Feuer at PeJay Creations was the perfect fit!” she said.

PeJay Creations, a second-generation family-owned and operated company, had the family culture Cohen wanted, and similarly aligned values of high quality production and, most of all, attention to detail.

“Jackie will have the flexibility to be a stay-at-home, full-time working mom, without having the worries of inventory, production, shipping, and accounts payable and receivables,” said Feuer. “PeJay Creations has the infrastructure to continue to grow the MY STORY brand, while expanding her reach with PeJay’s larger customer base.”

The MY STORY line began when Cohen created a small, simple baguette ring in citrine, the birthstone of her daughter. Cohen, who adopted her daughter after years of trying to become pregnant, was inspired to create the ring to celebrate becoming a mother at last. Little did she know that ring would be the beginning of something much greater, as it caught the attention of her friends and jewelry clients alike, each taken by its modern design, craftsmanship, and the tale of how it came to be. Its surprising popularity led Cohen to create more pieces, evolving into an entire collection she named MY STORY.  MY STORY is available in fine jewelry stores around the country, and will launch at Barney’s New York’s 59th Street flagship and online in September.
