Lafayette, LA and Dallas, TX—Two industry bridal brands are holding competitions this month. Stuller’s March Bridal Madness competition is returning for its eighth straight year. The Lafayette, LA-based brand is now accepting designs for the bridal jewelry design contest hosted on the company’s Facebook page.

Jewelers can enter any engagement ring or wedding band they have created either for a customer or for their showcase. Once the entry is submitted, the designs will be put on Stuller’s Facebook page, for first-round voting. The top three designs with the most likes/reactions will then move on to the final round of judging by a panel of experts at Stuller. The grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 Stuller account credit.

“This competition gives our customers a chance to showcase their bridal designs to their customers, as well as their peers,” says Nichole Guillory, public relations and social media manager. “Every year, this competition has grown bigger and bigger, and the designs are always remarkable.”

Fan voting on Facebook will take place from March 16 to March 31. The top three fan favorites will be announced April 1 and the overall winner will be announced April 13. Entries can be emailed to Stuller up until March 15. Separately, Dallas, TX-based Sylvie Collection is partnering with mobile app Depalo and digital bridal site Engagement 101 to launch a nationwide photo contest called Something Sylvie. The winner of the contest will receive the brand’s 2019 most popular style of engagement ring, The Maryam S2093, customized and set with a diamond stone up to a value of $10,000.

The contest features a partnership of three companies founded by women: two in the digital space and the jewelry firm.

Jewelry company Sylvie Collection is founded and designed by Sylvie Levine.

Depalo, founded by Rebecca Aneloski, is a location scout app that reveals the most “Insta-worthy” photo opportunities in each city across the United States and several other countries. The app leads users to the exact location of impressive murals, landscapes, viewpoints, businesses, and more.

Engagement 101, founded by Severine Ferrari, is the first multi-media platform dedicated to couples planning their proposal. Together with Sylvie Collection, the three companies are launching an interactive location-based photo contest.

To take part in the contest, the user can simply download Depalo App on their phones (optional) and find a suggested “Insta-worthy” location to take a couple’s photo. Participants can post their photo on Instagram with #SomethingSYLVIE, tag, and follow all three partners. Lastly, the participant must upload the photo to the contest form to complete the entry.

The dates of the competition are March 1 to May 25 (subject to change). The winner will be announced live by Levine and Ferrari at the Sylvie Collection booth at the JCK Show in Las Vegas.
