Merrick, NY--Finding new approaches to help retailers move merchandise is the goal of much of the industry’s education. Platinum Guild International offers a new approach to selling platinum bridal jewelry during the Retailer Roundtables at the Centurion 2012 Show.

“Do you lead with the diamond in your engagement ring sales presentations?” asks PGI’s Kevin Reilly, who will moderate the “Platinum Profits” roundtable. “If so, we'd like you to reconsider that strategy. It may significantly impact your bottom line.”

“The Millennial bridal consumer is the target for this very important merchandising category [platinum bridal], so learning what to expect from them is important to your business.  While they are very individualistic, they share four dominant traits: they are mindful, expressive, entitled,  and competitive,” he says. Is it by gross margin percentage or gross profit dollars?” continues Reilly. “Many retailers analyze their profitability in terms of gross margin percentage, but that may not help them to maximize their profitability. The bridal business is a strong and steady business, but it also has a finite customer base, so maximizing your bottom line profit dollar potential with each transaction can help you achieve maximum success in this important category.”
