Charities to Contribute to in Memory of George Walton February 01, 2021 (0 comments)
Anchorage, AK--Further to last week's news of the passing of long-time Alaska retailer George Walton, who died after a short battle with Pancreatic cancer on January 9, 2021 at the age of 71, below are charities the family has suggested for giving in his memory.
According to an obituary published in the Anchorage Daily News, "The family would like to thank all the medical professionals who helped care for George – especially Dr. Roland Gower whose kind and compassionate care will never be forgotten. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will no service at this time. The family hopes to have a Celebration of Life for George sometime this summer." Donations may be made to Life Alaska or the American Cancer Society.
