Centurion Show Seeks Entry Level Telephone Account Executive

Merrick, NY—The Centurion Jewelry Show is expanding. We seek a full-time, junior telephone salesperson/account executive with up to two years' sales experience to work in our Merrick, Long Island, office. Candidate will handle sales of exhibit space, advertising, sponsorships, and recruitment for show attendance for our growing list of trade shows and media products.

Candidates must be: energetic, professional, self-motivated, thorough, extremely well organized, comfortable with the concept of personal accountability, and exhibit a great sense of urgency and an excellent work ethic.

In addition, an excellent phone manner and people skills are key, along with a desire—consistent with our company philosophy—to always provide top-notch customer service.

Proficiency with web applications including Salesforce.com and Gmail is critical, as is second-nature ability with MS Word and Excel.

Successful candidates will be trained by our expert team to succeed. Position may also require light travel to work on-site at our events and attend other major trade shows.

Luxury Italian Designer, Skilled In 3-D Design And Project Management, Seeks Position With High-End Jewelry Firm

Milan, Italy—Claudio Gussini, a senior jewelry designer fully skilled in 3D design development and an expert project manager for jewelry manufacturing, seeks a new position—either contract or full-time—with a high-jewelry manufacturer.

Following his training as a bench jeweler, he has been expert in CAD systems since 2000, and is an advanced Rhinoceros user and Rhino Authorized trainer since 2005.

Gussini is skilled in managing global jewelry manufacturing (from product development through validation of prototypes, master prototypes, head of series pieces, and production launch), in close collaboration with marketing, supply chain, quality control, and manufacturing departments. He also has experience managing a designers’ group in order to get a common goal, in agreement with the customer's wishes.
He is able to project and supervise the collections' development, in accordance with the studio and marketing specifications (product definition, mark up target, conformity of the product according the brand standards), and is proactive in sourcing new attractive materials and new suppliers in accordance with new trends at global trade fairs.
Willing to travel and relocate.
