West Bloomfield, MI--Color affects us in profound ways. Our brains are designed to respond to color. Color sets the mood of a store’s expression. It also can allow you to make mental associations. This fact ties into the interior design environment of the overall jewelry store.

The top eight colors for 2023, according to the color masters at Benjamin Moore are:

There are many ways to add a splash of color to your store. Color pops are a great way to add interest and depth to the store decor. This could be a brightly colored feature wall, pops of color in cushions or other store accessories as well as using color in flooring. As seen in the pictures, these colors give the store a soft, cozy feeling, making them a comfortable and relaxing place to spend time in. For example, Chiccarines Diamonds & Jewelry used a pop of brown in their POS. See picture from Occasions Fine Jewelry, where they used orange, one of their logo colors, in the drink bar section.

Neutral colors have long been popular in residential and commercial spaces and will remain popular for 2023. Neutral color choices, especially flooring, allow you to easily change other design aspects in your store, such as accessories and wall color. Color sets the mood of brand expression, and more importantly, creates mental associations to the meaning of your store image. Picking the right color should never be underestimated. Color and your interior design look can increase jewelry sales in your store. Change your accent wall to one of the above colors to keep up with the 2023 trends.
