In a two-part series designed to help retailers maximize sales, industry experts will discuss all the necessary steps retailers need to take to conquer the jewelry industry’s biggest selling season. In Part One, scheduled for Thursday, Nov 5, 2020 11:00 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada), join Erich Jacobs, president of the Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT), who will give exclusive insight on JBT’s data and how it relates to the current state of the economy, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the jewelry industry. He will share the economic forecast of spending power and trends for 2020 holiday shopping.
Joining Erich is Miya Owens Esq., CIPP/US, CIPP/EU, of the Jewelers’ Vigilance Committee (JVC). She will explain how an increase in online sales and advertising this holiday season, poses an increase in cyber risks and advertising pitfalls. Owens will host a brief discussion on how to mitigate these risks and common pitfalls, to ensure your online business thrives this season and into 2021. There will be Q&A sessions for each speaker.
