Costello Jewelry Company was founded in 1979 by Joe Costello who, at age 19, was selling gold chains at home parties. While doing research on retail jewelers, Costello found stores were either carrying poor quality merchandise and using clever marketing to profit, or very high-end stores with equally stratospheric prices. He carved out a niche selling fine jewelry at attainable prices.
Today, Costello Jewelry Company has two retail locations in Naperville and Glen Ellyn, IL, with tenured and seasoned sales professionals, bench jewelers, and graduate gemologists on staff and a robust selection of luxury jewelry and watch brands. Costello Jewelry Company has won numerous "BEST OF" awards, but proudly boasts it is entirely organic—the jeweler has never solicited customers to vote for them.
"Anybody can buy jewelry from a manufacturer, change the price tag, and call themselves a jeweler," says Costello. At Costello Jewelry, customers are greeted with warm smiles, experience, a hot cup of coffee, and brands like Oscar Heyman, Dilamani, Doves, Coast Diamond, Simon G, Tacori, Breuning, Michele, Carl F. Bucherer, and more.
