Milan, Italy—Tilda Swinton, star of Golden Globe-nominated film Io sono l’amore (I am Love), gets to love more than her man—she is outfitted in Damiani jewels throughout the entire film.
In it, she portrays the matriarch of one Milan’s upper class bourgeois dynasties—made that much more credible by the addition of Damiani jewelry such as an Italian woman of that social realm might wear. Among those pieces selected were the ring and earrings from Damiani’s Chignon collection, which represent harmony and synergy in beautifully intertwined diamond-covered white gold ribbons.
This is a repeat performance for Swinton and Damiani. In 2008, when she received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, she donned Damiani jewels as well.
