Per the post, the store's manager, Vanessa, and Gemstone specialist Sasha created a gemstone touch-and-learn station with various rough and polished stones, gemstone, jewelry, and jewelry sales tools.
The workshop by Day's Jewelers also taught the children how to use these tools as the scout group had the opportunity to look at diamonds through a gem scope.
"To finish the day off, they took a tour of the service department, shop and buffing room, and received some cute costume rings as a 'thank you' for visiting and spending time with us to learn about jewelry," the post noted.
Day's Jewelers highlighted that it's essential that women are uplifted and encouraged in professional leadership positions.
"[I]n addition to employing women in many of our leadership and historically male dominated positions, we have collaborated with local Girl Scouts troops in order to offer a Jewelry Merit badge opportunity," the post added.
Mandy Clary, a leader of the group, said that the girls had a "wonderful time." She added in the comments, "Thank you [so] much for having us!"
