Ellen Martinson, the owner of Leona Ruby in the East Village, said in a report that minimalist gold bracelets were customized for the wearer's wrist and then welded shut without a clasp.
Per the report, the bracelets sold at the store are made of 14k gold and come with different chain options and charms starting at $98. The bracelets are designed minimally, so they do not clash with any outfit in the wardrobe.
The report notes that if wearers need to take off the bracelet, they can snip them with scissors and bring them to the store to be welded.
