Fredric H. Rubel Jewelers And Harry Kotlar Jointly Fete 160 Years | October 30, 2019 (0 comments)
Laguna Beach, CA—In an exclusive event celebrating more than 160 years of combined history, retailer Fredric H. Rubel Jewelers and diamond house Harry Kotlar offered Orange County, CA customers a night to remember. Harry Kotlar recently celebrated its 70th anniversary, while Fredric Rubel has been in operation for 90 years.
The exclusive event was held October 10 at Fredric H. Rubel Jewelers’ newly renovated Laguna Beach location. The highlights of the event were an interactive museum exhibition that showcased Harry Kotlar’s breadth of history articulated through its jewelry masterpieces, as well as an in-house design illustrator for clients to redesign their heirloom jewel or create and design their own Harry Kotlar jewel.

“The evening was more unique than our regular events,” says Gary Rubel, co-owner of Fredric H. Rubel Jewelers. “Our entire store was curated with various Harry Kotlar designs and having the brand’s illustrator at our store gave our valued customers an opportunity to recreate and design beautiful pieces of jewelry that represented their style, charm and history.”

The event was an ultra-exclusive affair for Harry Kotlar fans, jewelry and luxury watch collectors, and Orange County’s elite business leaders, tastemakers, influencers, and editors.
“This was an opportunity to showcase the brand’s stunning jewelry and its style evolution to a roster of discerning clients who appreciate refined and classic designs,” added David Rubel, co-owner of Fredric H. Rubel Jewelers. “It was apparent that though styles may change from one decade to the next but classic fine jewelry remains timeless.”
The store became a museum for an evening, featuring an exhibit showing Harry Kotlar’s seven decades of craftsmanship. It featured the 70th Year Anniversary Collection, an expanded collection of Harry Kotlar’s hallmark designs: its Artisan Pavé, its renowned Kotlar Cushion cut, and other rare diamonds and jewels worn by A-list celebrities like Rihanna, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Cate Blanchett and others.
