Gossage Jewelers Welcomes National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day for Small Businesses March 30, 2022 (0 comments)
Nashville, TN--Lesa Gossage of Gossage Jewelers celebrated National Mom and Pop Business Owner Day, which honors small businesses across the country and urges people to shop in them.
"We were raised down here with our Mom and Pop, so we had lots of years of experience,” Gossage told News4.
Located in West Nashville on Charlotte Pike, Gossage Jewelers has been around for 73 years and is run by aunts and uncles. News4 reports that the younger generation might take over the business someday.
“My parents and Great Aunt and Uncle were fair and honest. And they [just loved] what they were doing,” Gossage told the outlet.
According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, there are more than 27 million small businesses in the country. Customers had the opportunity to show their appreciation for small businesses on National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day on March 29 by giving gift cards from their favorite small businesses to people sharing their social media pages and becoming repeat customers and supporting them at local events.
