The store, which had locations in and on military bases, including Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, and Jacksonville near Camp Lejeune, cannot continue providing repair and replacement services. However, customers who bought jewelry from Harris Jewelry and enrolled in the lifetime jewelry and watch protection plan are eligible for a full refund.
The refunds are part of a settlement that includes Attorneys General for 19 states or entities, including NC, CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IO, KS, LA, MD, NV, NY, PA, VA, WA, and HI. Moreover, customers with outstanding debts to Harris Jewelry will no longer need to make payments as their balance is now zero.
To claim the refund, customers must fill out a form and provide their social security number by April 15. Customers can contact Harris Jewelry, read the Federal Trade Commission’s press release, or the New York State Attorney General’s Office at (315) 523-6080.
