San Juan, PR—David Morrow, husband of jeweler Marie Helene Reinhold-Morrow, died peacefully Sunday at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 88.

A native of Idaho and a former executive in the supermarket industry, Morrow was a familiar face at many jewelry shows with his wife, Marie-Helene Reinhold-Morrow, owner of Reinhold Jewelers in San Juan. Parlaying his retail experience as president of A&P, Albertsons, and Pueblo supermarkets—which he chaired for 10 years in the 1980s and early 1990s—Morrow was active on the business side of Reinhold Jewelers and helped Reinhold-Morrow to grow a single store into a multi-store chain and the dominant luxury jeweler in Puerto Rico.

In addition to Marie-Helene, Morrow is survived by children Kelly Morrow, Kristi Morrow, Jody Morrow, Regan Reinhold, Robin O’Neill, Sara Francesca Fisher, and Yael Reinhold-Lipnik. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and his beloved dog Sammy.

Dear Mary Helen, Regan, Robin, Sara, Yael, and family,

So sorry for your loss. May you find joy in the memories of your lives entwined together. David was a wonderful person. I think he brought out the best in the people he met and certainly with close family.
Stay strong. This is perhaps the hardest part of life to go through.

Meir and I and the girls are all sending you our love with hugs and thinking of you at this time. May he rest in peace.

Love Iris & family
