DEF GOOD Awards Journal Deadline Tomorrow
New York, NY—The deadline to purchase a congratulatory ad in the Diamond Empowerment Fund’s GOOD Awards journal is Friday, December 20. This year’s honorees are Forevermark, JCK, and Fred Meyer Jewelers.
The GOOD Awards recognize individuals and corporations for outstanding leadership in the area of good corporate citizenship, sustainability, and promoting opportunity in Africa.
The event will be held Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Empire Penthouse in New York. Individual tickets are $275; a Green Diamond package of $1,750 includes two tickets and a full-page color journal ad. Tickets and ad contributions are tax-deductible.
Rapaport To Launch Diamond Show in Basel
Basel, Switzerland--A new diamond show will open in Basel, Switzerland, on March 27, 2014. The show will be located in the iconic Markthalle building, only 300 meters from the Basel SBB train station, and will be open to both the trade and private collectors and investors.
The exhibition will feature 60 top diamond manufacturers and dealers from around the world, and also will include a specialized salon for natural fancy colored diamonds.
“We are proud to provide an unprecedented opportunity for buyers to deal directly with the most important diamond manufacturers and dealers,” said Mordy Rapaport, director of Rapaport Exhibitions, show organizer.
