ISG Selects Instappraise as the Preferred Jewelry Appraisers’ Software Platform   April 06, 2022 (0 comments)

Calgary, Alberta--Instappraise, which produces professional jewelry appraisal creation and management software, has been recognized by the International School of Gemology (ISG), as its appraisal platform of choice for all ISG Registered Gemologist Appraiser students and graduates.

Established in the 1990’s under a different name, ISG became an independent and virtual gemology school in 2004 with the goal of serving more students quality educational content. For the Registered Gemologist Appraiser program, the ISG now offers a complete, eight-course curriculum of gemology and jewelry appraisal, including a full gemological lab and reference gemstones.  

The 8-course program for upcoming jewelry appraisers covers the following topics:

4. ISG104 - Created and Treated Gemstones (14 lessons)  

5. ISG105 - Introduction to Watches (6 lessons)  

6. ISG106 - Pearls (9 lessons)  

7. ISG107 - Personal Property Appraisal (16 lessons)  

8. ISG108 - Evaluating Damaged Jewelry (8 lessons)
