Saxton, PA--James A. Bulger Sr., 71, of Saxton, owner of Bulger's Jewelry Store, died June 9.

An obituary published in a local outlet states that James was born on October 7, 1950, in Saxton, the son of Mark H. Bulger Jr. and Rosalind (Furry) Bulger. He was married to Pamela Masood Bulger on August 31, 1975, who preceded him in death on May 1, 2008.
James started his professional life in 1973. He started assisting his father at Bulger's Jewelry Store. Three years later, he purchased his father's store alongside another in Martinsburg. By then, James had spent four years serving in the US Navy.
Per the obituary, James owned and operated other stores in Bedford and Roaring Spring and was in the business for 40 years before retiring in 2013.
The obituary notes that James was a member of The Pennsylvania Jewelers Association and served as the organization's secretary and treasurer. He was also a member of other established organizations.
James is survived by a son, James A. Bulger Jr., and girlfriend, Marcy Lemin, both of Saxton, and a sister, Kathy Bulger Stryk, wife of Donald Stryk (deceased), of Mathis, Texas.
