Apple Valley, MN--Jay Feichtinger is retiring and closing doors of his store, Jay F. Jeweler. He said he is beginning his next chapter, which includes spending more time with family and grandchildren.

To celebrate his legacy and the amazing relationships he has made over the years, Feichtinger is  holding a huge Store Closing Sale, which has begun, with savings of up to 70% for the store’s entire selection of fine jewelry, including sapphire, emerald and diamond pieces.

Feichtinger began his life in the jewelry business in 1977 with a part-time job at a local jeweler. After graduating college and taking some time off, he returned to jewelry because he said he was deeply passionate about it. He briefly worked wholesale in his basement. Then, in 1988, he opened his own store, and everything grew from there over the next 35 years.

Jay F. Jeweler defined itself through its customer service and custom designs. The store became a retail manufacturer with a staff of trained, professional jewelers. Starting in 2007, Jay F. Jeweler was one of the first jewelers in the Twin Cities that began using computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) with the latest technologies. These custom designs have attracted customers from the area.

“The past 35 years of operating my store and growing with the Apple Valley and surrounding communities has truly been a joy and a labor of love,” Feichtinger said. “We’ve been honored to receive support from our amazing customers. Plus, I’ve been blessed with employees who are simply the best. Each offered honest hard work, creating memorable items and serving our customers.”

Jay F. Jeweler is located on 7587 148th St W; Apple Valley, MN 55124

Sale Hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm; and Saturday 10am - 2pm
