Jeweler Boosts Name Recognition As Title Sponsor of Golf Event July 04, 2021 (0 comments)
Warwick, RI—If you need lots of people in town to know your name but buying naming rights to a major-league arena is a little beyond your budget, sponsor a high-profile local sporting event instead.
That’s what Hannoush Jewelers did. The retailer, based in Springfield, MA, is the title sponsor of the Hannoush Jewelers Friar Golf Classic, an annual fundraising event for Providence College. Watch highlights here.
This year’s event was held June 8 at the Warwick Country Club in Warwick, R.I., says the college. The sold-out event raised more than $115,000 that will be used to enhance the experience of every student athlete at Providence College.
Hannoush Jewelers is a 41-year-old family-owned retail jewelry company. The first Hannoush Jewelers store opened its doors in Massachusetts in 1980 and today has grown to a chain of more than 50 company-owned and franchised stores located throughout the United States, predominantly east of the Mississippi River and most heavily concentrated in New England and near the Ohio-Indiana-Kentucky border. (The retailer has one location west of the Mississippi, in St. Peters, MO.) The jeweler employs over 400 staff in its stores, which include both upscale mall and freestanding locations, in both major metropolitan areas and smaller communities.
