SECOND DIAMOND SWITCH BY FEMALE THIEF
Puyallup, WA: July 12, 2021
The white female pictured above was in a mall retail jewelry store and said she wanted to upgrade her current ring. At the bridal showcase, the suspect browsed various solitaires. The sales associate handed a ring to the associate, and the suspect asked the price. The suspect then handed a different ring back to the sales associate, and stated she did not like the style of the head on the ring.
The sales associate recognized that the ring had been switched, and requested the original ring back, but the suspect fled the location with the ring. It is reported that the suspect carried out another diamond switch in a Seattle, WA suburb on July 7, 2021.
The suspect is described as late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 3 inches, heavyset, and wearing black medical scrubs. Suspect also has a bridge-style piercing on her nose. If you have information, contact JSA at 212-687-0328 or jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org.
SUSPECT FLEES WITH GOLD CHAIN
Boise, ID: July 19, 2021
The white male suspect pictured above was looking at a gold wheat necklace in a retail jewelry store. When he had the necklace in his possession, he immediately fled the store.
