Mayors Parent Taps Vee24 Platform For High-End Online Customer Interaction January 11, 2021 (0 comments)

Boston, MA—The Watches of Switzerland Group, which owns Mayors Jewelers in the United States, has tapped Vee24, an online engagement platform, to create a Virtual Boutique for customers seeking expert guidance and timepiece inspiration while shopping for luxury watch brands. 

In addition to Mayors (image), a 14-store prestige jewelry chain in Florida and Georgia, the Watches of Switzerland Group also operates boutiques under its own name in both the United States and the United Kingdom, particularly in Heathrow Airport. It is the UK’s largest luxury watch retailer, and also owns prestige jewelers Mappin & Webb and Goldsmiths. 

Watches of Switzerland has had an existing partnership with Vee24 since 2015, when the technology company introduced live video, voice and text chat with multi and mobile cameras, co-browsing, and screen sharing for the retailer. But following a pandemic-driven surge in online sales since May 2020, the retailer raised the bar in serving customers who visit its online store with high-definition video chats to provide qualified customers with knowledgeable, personalized service online. 

Watches of Switzerland Group launched a Virtual Boutique for its UK customers using the Vee24 platform, including VeeScheduler and VeeStudio with video chat and co-browsing. Customer service representatives handle pre-sales inquiries and transfer qualified customers to highly-trained, watch experts who talk face-to-face via video chat with the customer. The Virtual Boutique is open seven days a week and customers in need of services can be immediately connected to an available expert or schedule a session at a time that is convenient.
