Two other men, Thomas Liberatore and Paul "Tony Pro" Prosano were also found guilty in December 2022 of robbery and interstate transportation of stolen property. Liberatore and Prosano are awaiting sentencing.

Per the report, the robbery occurred at Marco Jewelers in Stamford, where Rallo and Liberatore entered the store. Rallo engaged in a physical altercation with the store owner, Mark Vuono, armed with a gun. Rallo shot and killed Vuono during the altercation. Prosecutors noted that Rallo had a criminal history spanning approximately 40 years, which included two prior murder convictions.

Rallo met Liberatore and Prosano while incarcerated in the New York State Department of Corrections and was released in March 2019. The case was investigated by several law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, and was commended for its collaboration and joint efforts.
