Saint Croix, VI--Ravish Agarwal's journey with the family-owned jewelry store Perfection Inc. is ending after 31 years.

Located in Sunny Isle Shopping Center, the store found its "backbone" in Shobha Agarwal, who, along with her husband, Ravish Agarwal, has built the business over the years. But now it's time to part ways with the store, reports a local news outlet, as one of their employees who's been working with them for 25 years is buying the company.

“While we aren’t going to be in the business anymore, the business isn’t shutting down," Ravish said, as per the report.

The report noted that Ravish's turned nostalgic while recalling the years he spent with the business. “Usually, people come in because they are celebrating and want a gift for somebody for Valentine’s Day, a wedding, graduation. Many occasions do people shop for, and I have loved helping them find the right thing when they came in,” he told the outlet.

Ravish hopes that his family continues to enjoy support in the community post-retirement. He is looking forward to spending time with his two-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter, who will be coming to St. Croix for the first time at the end of the month. "It is exciting,” he said, as per the report.
