Platinum Guild International Hints at Rising Consumer Confidence, Backs Positive Growth July 07, 2022 (0 comments)
New York, NY--Platinum Guild International (PGI) is optimistic about the jewelry market's growth. With Covid measures out of place, there's greater optimism and improved consumer sentiment across jewelry categories.

A report said that the guild's observation was based on interviews with 2,000 consumers who bought or intended to buy precious jewelry in the US, China, India, and Japan. “Results indicate demand for precious jewelry continues to recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in most markets, most notably in India," the report added.
Zhenzhen Liu, director of global corporate marketing for PGI, said in the report that the survey suggested a "strong willingness" among people to spend on precious jewelry.
Liu said in the report that he is optimistic about platinum too. "Given platinum’s unique qualities, branded collections in local markets have continued to boost their appeal with younger consumers, who will be the market growth engine in future," he said in the report.
