Milan, Italy—Industry members are invited to join the open sessions of the virtual CIBJO Congress 2021. The sessions will be held on the new Zoom Events platform, which provides participants access into a congress lobby before and after each session, where they may network and interact with each other, as may one do in an in-person event.

CIBJO’s 2021 Congress is being held virtually for the first time, due to ongoing concerns about the pandemic. The event is slated for November 1-4 and November 15-18. 

There are four sessions open to the industry. Each session must be registered for individually by clicking here. All times listed are Eastern US time: 

1. Opening Ceremony and CIBJO’s Responsible Sourcing Commission, Monday, November 1, 10:00-11:30 a.m. 
2. Lab Grown Diamond Committee, Thursday, November 4, 9:00-10:00 a.m.
3. Marketing & Education Commission, Ethics Commission, and Jewellery Industry Supply Chain Nomenclature Committee, Monday, November 15, 9:00-10:00 a.m. 
4. Marketing & Education Commission, Ethics Commission, and Technology Committee, Thursday, November 18, 9:00-10:00 a.m. 

The new Zoom system requires an updated Zoom Client for Meetings app on your computer or mobile device, not standard log in to Zoom via its website. Participants also need to be logged into the Zoom Client for Meetings app using the same email address registered for the CIBJO Congress sessions.
