Ras Al Khaimah, UAE--A Rolex store is likely to be part of the luxury retail lineup at Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first regulated casino hotel in the Middle East, scheduled to open in early 2027. The resort, located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), plans to feature around 40 high-end shops to compete with Fashion Avenue in the Dubai Mall, according to Casino.org.

During a webcast, Tariq Bsharat, Marjan's chief strategy and business development officer, said that demand for retail space at the venue has been strong. “It’s actually oversubscribed — every major brand wants to be here,” he stated. While Bsharat did not confirm Rolex’s presence, he indicated confidence in its inclusion directly or through a multi-brand watch retailer.

Wynn Las Vegas already hosts a Rolex store managed by Watches of Switzerland Group. However, another report stated that Watches of Switzerland and Rolex unit Bucherer are unlikely to run the UAE store due to licensing challenges. Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, which operates the world’s largest Rolex store at Fashion Avenue in the Dubai Mall, could be a potential operator, though no confirmation has been made.

Retail space in casino resorts is a significant revenue stream, as high-end brands can generate annual sales between $100 million and $150 million, the report noted
