Charlotte, NC--The latest Jewelers Security Alliance (JSA) news from March 26, 2021.

The black male suspect pictured above called ahead to a retail jewelry store and said he wanted a 5 ct bracelet for his mother. He later came to the store and asked to see the largest diamond bracelet in the store. He was shown several bracelets, which were returned to the showcase. The suspect was on his phone, and then asked to see a particular bracelet. When he held the bracelet to his arm, he fled the store with it.

The suspect is reported to be the same suspect in a March 23, 2021 grab and run at another Charlotte, NC location. The suspect is described as 5 feet and 6 inches, heavy, and wearing a white Raptors basketball jersey and a black Raptors ball cap in both grab and run thefts.
