Houston and Frisco, TX--Tanishq has expanded its footprint in the United States by launching two new stores in Houston and Frisco, Texas. These openings are a part of the brand's ongoing U.S. expansion, following their first American store in Iselin, New Jersey, earlier this year.

Tanishq said in a news release that these stores are strategically located in Texas, home to over 450,000 Indian Americans, the second-largest population of Indian Americans in the U.S. The Houston and Frisco locations are in major metropolitan areas, close to significant Indian American communities. Tanishq aims to cater to these communities with its jewelry collections, including Dharohar and Tales of Mystique. Previously available through U.S. e-commerce for nearly two years, these stores offer a direct shopping experience.

"Tanishq is a rich story that spans almost 30 years, and the name was crafted in conjunction of two words," Kuruvilla Markose, CEO of Tanishq, said in the news release. " In Sanskrit, Tan – means body, and Nishq, meaning gold ornament, when combined came to signify an ornament that adds to the beauty and elegance of women."

The Frisco store, encompassing 5,000 square feet, and the Houston store, covering 3,800 square feet, offer more than 2,000 designs in 18k and 22k gold, diamond jewelry, solitaires, and colored stones. Both stores celebrated their openings with inaugural events and showcased exclusive collections.
