Third-Generation Thiet Jewelers In Wisconsin To Close Its Doors December 07, 2020 (0 comments)
Whitefish Bay, WI—Thiet Jewelers, a 75-year-old jewelry store, is closing, reports the BizTimes/Milwaukee Business News. Third-generation owners Drew Thiet, David Thiet, and Darcie Thiet Elshoff have decided to retire and said in a statement that none of their children want to take over.
The store, which was founded in 1945 by Erwin and Pearl Thiet, began its going-out-of-business sale on November 9. In a letter to customers, the jeweler announced that David Thiet, the store’s master goldsmith, will continue working on his own, and advised customers to look for an upcoming announcement of his repair services.
