Tiffany & Co. Opens New Flagship in Tokyo’s Ginza District August 21, 2025 (0 comments)
Tokyo, Japan--Tiffany & Co. has inaugurated a new flagship store in Tokyo's Ginza district, marking its largest location in Asia, according to the company's announcement.
The 66-meter-high building, designed by architect Jun Aoki, is distinguished by a wave-like glass façade. Inside, architect Peter Marino has created a space spanning over 2,500 square meters. The report noted that visitors are greeted by a Michelangelo Pistoletto artwork and encounter a staircase lined with digital screens showing Immersive Moving Fresco by Oyoram Visual Composer.

The store highlights Tiffany's core collections—Lock, HardWear, T, and Knot—set within interiors that showcase Japanese craftsmanship. As per the release, these include a Kanazawa Rimmed Gold Leaf ceiling and an installation inspired by Kabuki theater, designed by artist Mariko Kusumoto. A dedicated floor for High Jewelry and the Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany collection presents rare pieces in a setting intended to balance tradition and modernity.
To coincide with the opening, Tiffany introduced limited-edition creations. These include a rose gold Lock pendant with a diamond, a white gold version with aquamarine, the Carat 128 watch referencing the Tiffany Diamond, and a Bird on a Flying Tourbillon watch featuring the brand's motif on the dial.

The flagship will also house Japan's first Blue Box Café, scheduled to open in August 2025. The dining concept is developed by chef Netsuke Shoji and will offer a menu focused on Japanese cuisine. According to the release, the café will include a terrace with a floral installation by Azuma Makoto and a private dining space.
