Aspen, Co--The second annual Watch Week Aspen had more brands, more exclusive experiences, and a large collector turnout, according to Oliver Smith Jeweler, which organized the event.

The three-day gathering that ended August 9 brought the world of haute horlogerie to the Rocky Mountains with collector-driven programming as well as more brands and exclusive experiences.

The event, co-founded by Oliver Smith Jeweler, in partnership with the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, brought the global watch community together for an upscale summer destination experience. Watch Week Aspen combined relaxed luxury, social connection, and engaging horological programming—free and open to the public—with countless decentralized activations hosted by leading watch brands and local retail partners across the city.

“We set out to create something truly different, a watch collector event that celebrates not just the product, but the lifestyle that surrounds them,” said Elizabeth Smith, managing director of Oliver Smith Jeweler and founder of Watch Week Aspen, “Watch Week Aspen brings together everything that makes Aspen unique—its natural beauty, its sophistication, and its passionate, discerning community.”

The 2025 edition of Watch Week Aspen featured local retail partners including Oliver Smith Jeweler, Avi & Co., Betteridge, and Meridian Jewelers, and an expanded brand lineup that included A. Lange & Söhne, Arnold & Son, Audemars Piguet, Bremont, Gerald Charles, Glashütte Original, H. Moser & Cie., IWC, Moritz Grossmann, Norqain, Oliver Smith Jeweler, Omega, and Zenith.

Event highlights included an opening night party, collector cocktail gatherings, hiking, pickle ball, panel discussions and a virtual racing challenge.

Collectors also explored rare timepieces at the Oliver Smith Jeweler and Moritz Grossmann Timepiece Vault, recharged in the Gerald Charles Lounge, sipped espresso at the ZENITH “El Primero” First Coffee bar, and previewed new models at Omega, A. Lange & Söhne, IWC, and other boutiques.

Each activation was designed to connect brands, retailers and collectors at several group gatherings and a network of retail stores and other venues spread in and around downtown Aspen.

Guests enjoyed exclusive access to new, never-before-seen timepieces from several exhibiting brands, including the limited-edition Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph and the Arnold & Son DSTB RG Mint Green and DSTB PT Ascot Blue. Avi & Co. also unveiled the retailer’s new Ice Collection, while ZENITH showcased the brand’s 160th Anniversary Collection. Visitors were also among the first to visit the new Omega boutique.

Several brand executives were in attendance, including Charles Langlois (A. Lange & Söhne Americas), Guillame Gruet (Audemars Piguet), Davide Cerrato (Bremont), Stephen Kounas and Ali Marquez (Glashütte Original), and Ellen Sorensen (ZENITH)

Organizers estimate that more than 200 collectors attended the event “This year’s strong turnout proves that collectors are seeking deeper, more personal engagement with the brands they love, and there’s no better place to do that than in Aspen,” said Oliver Smith, founder of Oliver Smith Jeweler.
