According to a Retail Jeweller report in the picturesque city of Vicenza, this expo, hosted by the Italian Exhibition Group, serves as a platform where industry leaders converse about market trends. The landscape of jewelry is evolving, introducing previously unheard-of features.

The report noted that a critical highlight of the event was the digital transformation of the gold jewelry sector.

Innovations like virtual reality, NFTs, AI, digital platforms, and 3D visualization tools are reshaping the industry from the design phase to the consumer experience. The Jewellery Trendbook 2025+, presented by Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting at Vicenzaoro, is poised to provide insights into market consumption trends and luxury consumer shifts. Additionally,

AI's impact on the jewelry and gem industry will be discussed in a meeting by the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO).

The report noted that CIBJO also offers a seminar on safeguarding intellectual property in jewelry and watches. Collaborations with the Italian Gemmological Institute and organizations such as JPEA, JETRO, and Mikimoto will address pearls and diamonds, exploring the nuances of natural and lab-grown varieties.

Lastly, watch fans can look forward to VO'Clock Privé, running from 8-10 September. This segment celebrates watchmaking culture, presenting a mixture of historic brands and innovative creators. It also displays unique timepieces while promoting a deeper understanding of the craft through discussions and workshops led by industry experts.
