Merrick, NY--Elite Jewelers are a smooth, sophisticated breed who are always calm, cool, diplomatic and collected. One could believe that given their public demeanor that nothing ever annoys them, right? 

Wrong!

We asked Elite Jewelers "What annoys you the most in your work?" and these are some of the responses we received:

• The customers
• Poor employee performance and people who waste time
• Slow seasons, down-turned economy, rude people. It’s best to plan ahead for slow times and rude people are usually nice once you understand what’s bothering them
• People expecting us to work for free, or that we are going to steal their precious 1 point diamond
• Our vendors competing with us. The uncertainty of these ugly political times. Misinformation on the Internet that people go to without researching whether it is true or not
• How rapidly everything changes in today's world, never a moment to sit back and put on "cruise control"
• Customers who can NOT make up their minds as to what they want and many times they are just taking up time and are not serious!!!
• Duplications of product and for competition selling goods with low margin
• When sales staff does not educate their clients to a quality product and only goes after the quick sale
• Thinking we are "on the same page" with design and time frame then finding out we are not, very late in the process
