The best way to use your email list is to begin with a "drip campaign", rather than just adding customers to your newsletter.

Email newsletters are a fantastic tool. Many businesses rely heavily on their newsletters to bring in business to their store.

There's never a guarantee that a customer will ever open the email. But one way to increase the likeliness of them being interested is to send them a series of well-crafted emails, rather than just adding them to your newsletter blasts.

This is the thought behind Drip Campaigns.

What Is A Drip Campaign?

In a Drip Campaign, marketing emails are sent on a schedule or based on user actions. This increases the relevance to your customer, which increases the likelihood they'll open and read your email.

You can choose the frequency of emails and set which conditions trigger which emails.

For example, if a potential customer has been frequently visiting a specific product on your website, a drip campaign could send them an email with five reasons to purchase the item. And then if they don't take action on that, a different series of emails can be automatically sent to them.

Newsletters work. But when someone receives your newsletter, they're getting generic content. Drip campaigns allow you to set up a series of emails that have a goal behind it.
