So now that we know we need websites to link to our website, how do we do that? The most straightforward way to do this is Guest Blogging.

Now, let me tell you something about guest blogging - it is NOT a reliable way to get direct traffic to your website. The number of people who actually click links in your articles will be low. However, the reason for guest blogging is really so Google see’s the links you put in that article that are directed to your website.

The bigger the website you blog on, the more it will positively impact your SEO.

If you’re an expert in your field, you should really be guest blogging for local publications, industry websites, and other outlets. It’s one of the least-technical things you can do to improve your search engine ranking.
