To me, the idea of running an ad and expecting consumers to immediately make a purchase is an ancient concept.

That way of shopping is obsolete.

The only time this may happen is during the holidays where most of the country is actively looking for gifts and people are more prone to impulse buy.

But even then - as a jeweler - impulse buys are low because your products are expensive.

The best way to get the sale is to be top-of-mind when your customers are ready to buy.

The only way to really stay top-of-mind amidst the sea of online competitors is to run retargeting ads. It’s the only way to really guarantee that people online see your logo and messaging on a regular basis. 

If you’re unfamiliar, retargeting ads are ads that will “follow” you around the web for 30-60 days after you’ve visited a company’s website.

These types of ads are available on Google and most social platforms. If you’re not taking advantage of them, you’re really shooting yourself in the foot.
