Jimmy DeGroot: See the Holidays through Your Younger Eyes November 26, 2024 (2 comments)

Green Bay, WI--The older I get and the more distance that separates me from the magic of the holidays as a child, the harder I must work to keep that magic alive. I realize that running a business can REALLY make it more difficult. But today I just want to encourage you with one simple thing… Gratefulness!

Just think of all the people in the world that would LOVE to be in your shoes with the blessings and the problems you have.  There are customers communing through your doors. You have a great staff of people that you couldn’t operate without, and you have a business that thrives on human emotion and celebration.

I’ve always set a goal to have all my details and planning done by December 1 so that for the entire month I could be truly present for my staff and customers. And yes, I know that being in the thick of the season gets hectic, but if you can make it a goal this year to be just a little more grateful, just a little more present, you’ll enjoy the season so much more.

If Jimmy is such a successful sales trainer, and I read and enjoy all his articles. Why does he stand with his arms crossed which is terrible body language to customers
