NAJA to Present 4 Webinars on Building an Appraisal Business April 29, 2021 (0 comments)
Rego Park, N.Y.—The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers has released the schedule for a new business-focused webinar series for gem and jewelry appraisers.
The series comprises four sessions focused on how to form, structure, market, and grow a successful appraisal practice.
Sessions are as follows:
- Key Considerations to Business, May 8;
- The Nuts and Bolt of Service, Marketing and Success, July 10;
- Evaluate and Re-evaluate: What’s Working and What’s Not, Nov. 13; and
- Taking It to the Next Level, scheduled for early 2022.
Each session will be held from 12 to 4 p.m. EDT.

Brian Kathenes of National Appraisal Consultants;
Amy Lynn Lonergan, attorney;
Steven Pollack, attorney;
Lynne Marcus, accountant;
Ted Irwin of Northwest Gemological Laboratory;
Martin Fuller of Fuller & Associates;
Jill Burgum of Heritage Auctions;
Stuart Robertson of Gemworld;
Kate Donovan, marketing consultant;
Sherlene Bradbury of NAJA; and
Jennifer Heebner, marketing strategist.
“A core principle of the NAJA is to ensure that gem and jewelry appraisers are equipped with the tools they need to succeed professionally,” NAJA Executive Director Gail Brett Levine said. “This program was carefully constructed with that in mind.”
Interested parties can attend individual seminars or all four. The price is $25 per seminar for NAJA members and $50 per seminar for non-members.
