An article by a Maryland-based service company states how businesses show never overcompensate with their thermostat. For example, a setting of 70 degrees Fahrenheit might seem ideal in winter. But the same setting in summer might make it too cold.
Similarly, walking into a cold store after spending time in the sweltering heat of 95 degrees might feel like an icebox.
So what's the ideal setting? The article recommends that business owners raise the temperature in the summer around 74 to 76 degrees and lower it between 68 and 70 degrees in winter.
"Trust us – your customers will thank you," the article adds.
