New York, NY--John Hardy has welcomed Aida Alvarez as the new senior vice president of Revenue for the Americas. Alvarez steps into this role to enhance the brand's wholesale and retail revenue streams across the region.

Per a news release in Yahoo Finance, Alvarez brings over 25 years of experience in the luxury goods industry to John Hardy. Her career has seen her hold positions at brands such as Roberto Coin, Birks Group, and CD Peacock.

Alvarez expressed her long-standing admiration for the brand, citing its heritage and artisanal design as key factors that drew her to the company. She also noted its recent evolution, highlighting its look and design direction as elements that have reignited excitement around the brand.

"Having spent most of my career in the luxury jewelry space, I have been following the John Hardy brand for a long time," Alvarez said, per the news release.

"I always admired the brand's rich and unique heritage and commitment to artisanal design. Earlier this year, I saw a refined John Hardy brand begin to emerge. The new look and design direction feels both modern and fresh while continuing to celebrate the brand's authority in handmade jewelry.

Group CEO Jan-Patrick Schmitz expressed enthusiasm about Alvarez joining the team, emphasizing her leadership qualities and extensive experience in luxury jewelry. He anticipates expanding John Hardy's retail and wholesale channels with Hardy.
