Salesperson Robbed in Indianapolis July 20, 2010 (0 comments)
David Artinian, a traveling salesperson from California, reported approximately $1,000,000 worth of jewelry stolen from the trunk of his vehicle while he was visiting jewelry stores in Indianapolis, IN.
According to the police report, thieves gained access to the trunk of the vehicle by smashing the drivers’ side window and hitting the trunk release key. Artinian was inside a jewelry store for less than 10 minutes, he said, while the theft took place.
He told police he was being followed by two Hispanic males in a white sedan. Police dusted both trunk and release button for prints but were unable to recover any. A GPS device in the car was not stolen.
