St. Petersburg, FL--The upcoming shop set to open in October, promises an experience for jewelry enthusiasts and novices. The shop's inception is credited to Brianna Alfaro, a South St. Petersburg native, and her husband Fredo, who has successfully run a tattoo business in St. Pete for over 10 years.

According to a report in St. Pete Rising, the couple's new venture emerges from Brianna’s passion for metalwork, which she initially took up as a stress-relieving hobby.

Wanting to share the therapeutic joy of ring-making with others, she founded The Brass Dagger, with the name being a tribute to their young daughter, Jett Dagger.

Crafting a silver ring, whether thin and stackable or a broader men’s variant, is simplified for visitors. They’re guided throughout the two-hour experience, from sizing to the final polish. Plus, individual customization in designs or engravings ensures each piece is unique.

The report noted that an essential figure at The Brass Dagger is Head Silversmith Cassandra Wahuhi, who skillfully guides customers throughout the ring-making journey. Wahuhi, an old acquaintance of Brianna, also operates her own jewelry and leatherwork store.

The shop welcomes walk-ins but offers reservations for those who prefer it. It is open between 10 am to 6 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3 pm to 6 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 10 am to 5 pm on Sundays. Special sessions can also be booked for Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.

The report added that the basic ring-making package is priced at $120, with premium packages, including engagement ring sessions and the “Private Jett” luxury experience, available for a higher fee.

Anticipating the grand opening on November 11th, Brianna envisions an expansion of the store's offerings. Apart from rings, she's eyeing bracelets and even knife-making classes as potential future additions.
