According to a report in L'Officiel, this volume documents nearly 700 items, including jewels, watches, and other precious objects, and offers a detailed analysis of the collection.

Van Cleef & Arpels President and CEO Nicolas Bos highlighted the interconnectedness of jewelry with other art forms. "We hope to show that jewelry is not an isolated art," Bops said, per the report. "It is in constant interaction with other disciplines, which inspire it and which it influences in return."

The book includes preliminary sketches and details of various pieces from the archives, providing an inside look at the design process. It also traces the brand's early popularity in Paris and New York.

Alexandrine Maviel Sonet, Patrimony and Exhibitions Director, noted the collection's value. "The patrimonial Collection is a unique ensemble," Sonet stated in the report. "Representative of the jewelry arts and major artistic movements of the 20th century, it testifies to the creative coherence demonstrated by the Maison since its foundation."
