Omaha, NE—Diamond stud earrings have been a runaway bestseller for upscale jewelers, both for the 2021 holiday season and for Valentine’s Day 2022. But what other earring styles are trending?
In its style blog, Borsheims’ buyers look at the top earring trends they like for this year. Not surprisingly, diamond studs are on the list, but their other earring favorite is the hoop, another perennial classic and one that has many possible variations. Everyone from Duchess Kate to tween girls loves this style. Borsheims shows a double-hoop version (below), with two different sizes and textures.

They feature a versatile pair of Roberto Coin earrings that can be worn looped or dangling, but if a customer has lost an earring, encourage her to bring the remaining one in to see if there’s something you can coordinate with it for a fashionably mismatched new pair.
