The Month In Review: April 2020 April 29, 2020 (0 comments)
Merrick, NY—The coronavirus pandemic dominated news for the second straight month, as jewelers nationwide had to lock their doors and convert to doing business online. Although sales have taken a significant hit, the good news is that better jewelers are still doing business and generally feel confident about the future. But the virus claimed three more jewelers’ lives, the Las Vegas jewelry shows won’t be happening this year, and the Basel fair’s future is in doubt altogether after Rolex and other key watch brands got fed up and left to start a new exhibition in Geneva.
